The Lister Mesh Beaded Leather Bodice weaves defiance into every thread. Each bead is placed with intention, like constellations breaking free from symmetry. Worn over bare skin or layered with texture, it is crafted to accentuate the body’s natural curves. Both sculptural peplum style panels and elegantly curved sleeve panels that wrap around the shoulders, feature a fine metal beaded pattern, hand beaded by our team of artisans. Elegant under-bust belt, wide waistline and adjustable velvet straps at back provide a structural fit, made to fit your body the way you wish.

This harness is among our most complex pieces, that takes 4 days to complete and requires artisans in both beading and leather teams to alternate phases for completion of each piece.

This pieces is named after Anne Lister- a 19th-century British landowner and diarist, who is renowned for her pioneering efforts in LGBTQ+ history. Known as the "first modern lesbian," Lister's detailed diaries, containing over four million words, documented her personal life, business acumen, and romantic relationships with women. Muscular and androgynous in appearance, she dressed only in black. Her interests in medicine, mathematics, landscaping, mining, railways, and canals led her to become an entrepreneur, earning her several sources of income, with which she funded many extensive travels in Europe.

Her fearless self-expression and defiance of societal norms continue to inspire entire generations.
