All faith traditions call everyone to love our neighbors.
We are called to love our LGBTQ+ neighbors. Our disabled neighbors. Our poor neighbors. Our immigrant neighbors. Our refugee neighbors. Our neighbors who belong to different political parties. And our neighbors who pray differently than us.
Wear this handcrafted bracelet as a reminder that love is hard. But our faith traditions clearly call us to love our neighbors—all our neighbors —without exception.
Each purchase from the ARTICLE22 x FCNL collaboration supports both FCNL and Mines Advisory Group in this lifesaving work, as well as the Lao artisans who created these bracelets.
The bangle is the first piece and represents the virtuous circle formed by ARTICLE22 - the more jewelry worn and shared, the more land cleared, the more material for artisans to make more jewelry and build their lives.
ARTICLE22 is on a mission to transform negative into positive. Each piece of jewelry is a modern heirloom – a piece of history up cycled from Vietnam War shrapnel and scrap by artisans in Laos.
Each piece gives back to support traditional Lao artisan livelihoods, village development, community endeavors and further de-mining efforts. Your purchase contributes to MAG (Mines Advisory Group) to safely & expertly clear some of the 80 million unexploded bombs contaminating land in Laos.
clears 4m2 of Laotian landscape.
ARTICLE22 collection engravings include hopeful messages that envision and inspire action toward a better future, individually and collectively. Each design starts a conversation about how we can unite around our shared beliefs and transform ourselves and our world. History is now.
