Avoid bottoming out when adapting a New Process NP203 or NP205 transfer case to modern transmissions. In some setups, the factory input retainer can contact the tail housing before the mounting faces seat—causing clearance issues and improper alignment.

Our CNC-machined 6061‑T6 billet aluminum input retainer solves this by:

• Keeping the seal in the factory location

• Reducing excess material from the front of the transfer case

• Maintaining proper piloting and bearing retention

Commonly used when installing a Ford NP205 (with our 23-spline short input shaft) to a Tremec TR-4050.
