The BlackBox Titan was built with one mission: unmatched strength. With a CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum case and a massive 1.75" output shaft, this is the strongest underdrive in the BlackBox lineup—designed specifically for the legendary NP205 transfer case.

Built for Abuse

The Titan takes the proven performance of the original BlackBox and pushes it further. Most gear reduction units—including the original BlackBox—use a 1-3/8" output shaft. That was fine... until high-horsepower builds became the norm.

The Titan steps it up with a 1.75", 34-spline output shaft, machined from a single billet piece, complete with integrated helical gear. No adapters, no compromises—just brute strength.

Designed for the NP205

The NP205 uses a one-piece input shaft and gear. Instead of downsizing to fit, we did the opposite—we upsized the BlackBox output and created an all-new integrated shaft to match. The result? Unmatched strength and durability, purpose-built for serious torque.

Compact. Strong. No Extra Bulk.

By eliminating the traditional splined connection, we shortened the case by 2.75 inches compared to older designs. The Titan measures just 5.35 inches in total length with the Standard Lid, making it one of the shortest, strongest units on the market.

All housed in a thick-walled, black-anodized 6061 aluminum case, ready for whatever you throw at it.

Add the BlackBox HD Lid for even more durability. With an integrated bearing retainer and 1.5× the load rating of the standard lid, it's the ultimate upgrade for high-torque builds or peace of mind in extreme terrain.
With the HD Lid installed, the total length of the BlackBox Titan is 6.2 inches.
