The Othala Hanging Decoration is a hand made wooden Yule ornament carrying Isar Oakmund's design of the Othala rune, finished with twine for hanging. Small batch. When they are gone, they are gone.

Othala is the rune of home, heritage and ancestral belonging - the place you come from, the people you carry with you, and the things worth passing on. As a Yule decoration it earns its place on the tree more than most. The Yule season in the Norse tradition was rooted in exactly those themes: the gathering of kin, the honouring of ancestors, the fire kept burning through the longest dark. Othala on the tree is not just decoration. It is the right symbol in the right season.

Hand made and hand finished. Twine included for hanging.
