The Aquamar Grey is a 38 mm Swiss automatic dive watch with a matte grey lacquered sandwich dial, hollow-out luminous indexes and a black ceramic bezel with white luminous markers and numerals. Grey offers a quieter alternative to the usual diver colours while keeping strong legibility under water and on land.
The Aquamar collection revives a lesser-known Nivada Grenchen dive watch of the late 1960s, part of the Antarctic family. Its signature is a roulette-style calendar disc with changing lume: the disc carries two different Super-LumiNova tones, so the glow shifts as the date changes, from a crisp modern look to a warmer, aged one. The look evolves on the wrist day after day.
Faithful to the compact original proportions, the 316L stainless steel case measures 38 mm and 12.9 mm thick, with a screw-down crown, a double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and 20 ATM water resistance, or 200 m. The ceramic bezel turns in both directions. The closed caseback carries the penguin engraving and a gold medallion. Inside, the Swiss Soprod P024 automatic movement, 25 jewels, beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 38-hour power reserve. See the Aquamar Blue and the full Aquamar collection.
