Blackstrap's Hood is the balaclava you see under half the helmets on Mt. Hood, from Bend, Oregon's Blackstrap, built around the ExoHinge: a hinged face panel you pull up for the chairlift and drop under your chin for the run without the hood shifting on your head. The four-way stretch fabric is thin enough to layer under a helmet, soft enough to wipe a goggle lens, and rated UPF 50+ for spring laps when the sun off the snow does more damage than the cold.
Stocked in Black, Granite, Ash, Fossil, Deschutes, Sagebrush, Cherry and Smoldered.
