Before the factory, there were art shows. Corey Milligan made knives by hand, convinced a tool could be beautiful and still do hard work every day. Maker’s Mark is our return to that idea: small-batch releases, each knife finished by an individual knife maker, each handle its own.
A cirque is the bowl a glacier carves into a mountainside, slowly, over a very long time. This batch is named for that patient work. The handle is finished by hand in colors that belong to the high country, and no other knife shares it. Once this batch is gone, it’s gone.
Underneath is the 9" Chef you already know: CPM S35VN particle metallurgy steel, the best combination of sharpness, toughness, edge-holding, stain resistance, and sharpenability on the market. It’s built for the power cutter, with more blade for big prep jobs like large squash, full racks, and high-volume cutting, and all the precision of the 8", extended.
One knife maker fits the handle, hand-finishes the choil and spine, and sharpens the blade before it leaves Victor, Idaho. Built to be used, trusted, and passed down for generations.
