The Snowflake Shaped throw pillow showcases hooked wool texture, snowflakes front and center. The loops are pulled through the backing one at a time, so the face carries a raised pile you can feel.

Swap it onto the sofa when the tree goes up. Set it against smooth linen or velvet and the texture contrast does the styling work for you.

This one is cut as a six point star, red ground with a white snowflake hooked across the middle and out along the points, and the shape does the work, so there is no border or welt.

Material: Wool and Velvet
Details: Hooked wool face
Care: Spot clean only, blotting with a soft cloth, mild soap and cool water. Do not machine wash, tumble dry or dry clean.

Wool pulled loop by loop through a backing, the way hooked rugs have been made for two centuries, is what gives this piece its depth and its weight in the hand. These are made in limited seasonal quantities. The wool is why this one goes back into the box every January instead of into the bin. Worth buying for anyone building a Christmas box worth inheriting, or for your own house.
