Our Skeleton Peace throw pillow is hooked in wool. The loops are pulled through the backing one at a time, so the face carries a raised pile you can feel.

The layer a neutral room is missing. Set it against smooth linen or velvet and the texture contrast does the styling work for you.

A white skeleton hand throws a peace sign on a black ground with no other motif on the face, the bones worked in thick cream loops that stand out hard against the dark wool. Blunt and funny on a porch chair or a teenager's bed.

Details: Hooked wool face
Care: Spot clean only, blotting with a soft cloth, mild soap and cool water. Do not machine wash, tumble dry or dry clean.

Wool pulled loop by loop through a backing, the way hooked rugs have been made for two centuries, is what gives this piece its depth and its weight in the hand. These are made in limited seasonal quantities. The wool is why this one goes back into the box every January instead of into the bin. Worth buying for Halloween hosts and anyone who decorates for October, or for your own house.
