The Snow Globe Shaped throw pillow is hooked in wool. The loops are pulled through the backing one at a time, so the face carries a raised pile you can feel.

The layer a neutral room is missing. One hooked piece among smoother covers gives a sofa physical variety no pattern can fake.

Shaped as a snow globe, with a pale gray-blue dome scattered with small blue snowflakes, a green tree inside under a gold star, and a red and navy base with JOY worked in gold. The shaped edge means it never quite reads as a pillow, which is most of its appeal.

Each piece is hooked on a frame one loop at a time, which is why hooked wool has a depth a printed face cannot copy. Christmas designs are produced in limited runs each year, and wool is one of the few materials that outlasts the season it was bought for. A wonderful gift for a Christmas host, a newlywed couple, or a family collection that grows every year.
