The WWII German battleship Tirpitz was sister ship to Bismarck; both were regarded as the most powerful battleships of their time, and the pinnacle of German naval engineering. Tirpitz mostly operated in Norwegian waters where her presence threatened Atlantic convoys and impacted Allied naval strategy. This made her a prime target for British bombers, and she was located and finally sunk while at anchor in a fjord in November 1944. Details on this 1:700 scale model include rotating gun turrets and printed camouflage designs. 593 pieces. Measures 36cm long when complete.
