Home to over 19,000 documented species, Great Smoky Mountains National Park is one of the most biodiverse regions in the world.
This map brings the majesty of the Smokies to life in an entirely new way. Our innovative design process harnesses GIS elevation data, conjuring the illusion of these iconic peaks rising from the surface of the paper.
The map features essential information including trails, scenic drives, campgrounds, and key landmarks, making it not only visually stunning but also an indispensable guide for your next outdoor adventure.
Inspiration behind the maps:
Our family has fallen in love with the national parks. We’ve spent many weeks on the road exploring these landscapes, and my goal for this series is simple: to design a map you want to hang on your walls — to feature the beauty of the terrain front and center, while also providing enough technical info to plan your next trip. I hope this map serves as a reminder of your memories with loved ones, inspiring many adventures to come.
