Yes the name of this mix is a bit confusing. The noun "browse" generally refers to leaves and stems of trees and shrubs that are eaten by wildlife, but the verb "browse" refers to animals eating everything from browse, to grasses, forbs, and everything in-between. Our "Browse Blend" is a mix of native broadleaf forbs (aka wildflower species) that you can plant to do everything from providing nesting and brooding cover for birds, tender leaves for your deer to eat, seeds for your birds, cover for rabbits, blooms and food for caterpillars, butterflies, moths, bees, beetles, and all other pollinators. With the price of fertilizer on the rise, this mix can fill the void on some of your food plots on poorer soils, because natives don't need nearly as much fertilizer (if any at all) compared to traditional food plot crops such as clover or cereal grains.
