Hand Cast Iron
This elegant sculpture is reminiscent of  artworks by Amedeo Modigliani and Pablo Picasso. Both artists featured seated women rendered through radical, modernist distortion of the human body. The paintings echo the sculpture's contemplative mood using exaggerated elongation, narrow facial planes, and geometric abstraction. This hand cast iron sculpture is a wonderful objet d'art for home or office.
