Japan
This whimsical work of art is created by skilled potters in Japan. Used for Matcha - Matcha is a finely ground powder of green tea specially processed from shade-grown tea leaves. Shade growing gives Matcha its characteristic bright green color and strong umami flavor. “Sakura” is the Japanese word for Cherry Blossom - their beauty is celebrated through the tradition of hanami, or flower viewing.
