Li’l Raspberry™ Butterfly Bush is A Modern Marvel

The Li’l Raspberry™ Butterfly Bush is a hybrid cultivar of Buddleia davidii, developed to deliver the same dazzling color and sweet fragrance as traditional butterfly bushes while maintaining a manageable, compact form. Part of the innovative Butterfly Candy® series, it was bred for small-space gardening without sacrificing flower power or performance. Its tidy growth habit and continuous reblooming nature make it a top choice for gardeners seeking vivid color and pollinator appeal in a low-maintenance package.

Care Guide for Li’l Raspberry™ Butterfly Bush

This hardy shrub thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, where it will reward you with a steady stream of flowers throughout the warm months. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a strong root system, then reduce watering once established. Li’l Raspberry™ performs best in average garden soil that drains well and benefits from a layer of mulch to retain moisture and regulate soil temperature. Light pruning in early spring before new growth begins will help maintain a neat shape and encourage even more blooms. Fertilize with a balanced, slow-release formula in spring to promote vigorous flowering.
