Le compotier de pêches
(Bowl of Peaches)

A softly painted still life of peaches gathered in a pedestal bowl, rendered with Édouard Vuillard’s loose, intimate brushwork. Layers of blush pink, cream and muted green create a gentle warmth, while the cropped composition gives the scene an immediate, domestic charm. Rich in texture yet understated in mood, this piece brings colour and painterly softness to kitchens, dining spaces and relaxed interiors.
