I find that a mermaid tail skirt is beautiful on my body type - keeping close to my body from hip to knee, with a dramatic flair at the knee, with volume that does a beautiful ripple when spinning. The bold red and funky 70's print canvas play together so delightfully, and I find that this piece is almost playful in essence. The shirt is lined with a soft cotton bedsheet and the skirt is unlined, to allow it to be worn throughout the year.
