This showstopper was initially thought up as a love letter to my Irish heritage (the lining has some influence from that) and my Italian lineage. While Gold and Red are not traditionally "Italian" colours normally, my family has for the last 50 years owned a bakery in the town I was born in, which used these colours prominently, so I have adopted them as my families colours.

I wanted to create a piece here that would be quintessential Rory - Bright, bold, busy, and eye catching. I feel it was a success, as when I wear this piece out, I have folks doing double takes and stopping me in the street for photos, or to ask about the piece.
