CMC Escape Line is a low-stretch 8.5 mm rope with outstanding performance, large enough for easy handling yet compact when stuffed in a bag or pocket. It has a polyester sheath and nylon core.

Materials and Construction

CMC Escape Line measures 8.5 mm in diameter and is finished in orange/yellow. It weighs 1.6 kg (3.5 lb) per 100 ft, is rated NFPA Escape, with a minimum breaking strength of 21 kN (4,721 lbf) and a maximum length of 549 m (1,800 ft), available in custom lengths.
