Shawl Construction
Shawl Construction - This is a crescent-shaped, elongated shawl with a long flowing fringe. It starts with a unique, stretchy YO (yarnover) Garter Tab Cast On and increases within the various design elements. As we begin our knitting trek, we will knit a series of garter stitches and lace. The fun part of this shawl is the fringe, reminiscent of a cascading waterfall. This shawl design was inspired by the Hidden Falls located on a short hike from Jenny Lake in Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park.
This bundle includes 4 skeins of Saratoga yarn. Shawl is shown in Waterfall.
Carolyn Holbrook designed the pattern. Carolyn learned to knit very early on in her life. She loves working with yarn and various fibers. She publishes her designs on Ravelry under the name Woolly Needle. Carolyn reached out to us after using our yarn in a design and she became a perfect match. We love her unique style and feel she fits so well with Mountain Meadow Wool. Welcome to the MMW family, Carolyn. When you get this bundle you will need to order the pattern separately on Ravelry under Woolly Needle.
