The X850 is your go-to lightweight workhorse. It’s designed for helmet mounting, everyday use, and those times when you want a powerful beam without carrying a torch. Kept rugged, kept simple, built to serve.

Why We Built It

• Weight & mounting priority: We heard from riders — “give me brightness, but don’t make me carry a tank on my helmet.” So the X850 sits in the sweet spot: light enough for helmet mounting, yet powerful enough for real tasks.
• Versatility in mounting: Comes with both helmet and handlebar mounts out of the box, so you don’t need to pick or compromise your mounting style.
• Modern charging & resilience: Upgraded to USB-C so charging is easier and more universal. Sealed and rated IPX6 for real-world spray and weather.

Testing & Real-Use Scenarios

• Night rides & trail work: Helmet-mounted during late-night runs for terrain mapping, ice spotting, and unlit stretches. The X850’s balance lets you forget it’s there until you need it.
• Cold & wet exposure: Tested in snow, rain, and freezing spray — seals held, brightness stayed stable, and USB-C charging remained reliable in damp, dirty conditions.
• Crash & vibration tolerance: Off-trail bounces, minor tumbles, and trail chatter confirmed the housing and mounts keep the light locked in and functioning.
• Battery consistency: Multiple full-discharge cycles in cold temperatures monitored for wattage drop and warm-up behavior under real alpine conditions.

When You’ll Get Full Value Out of It

• Helmet-first riders: Designed for riders who prefer helmet mounting and demand balance, comfort, and usable beam shape.
• Utility over range: When you need brighter fill than a headlamp but don’t need extreme throw.
• Multi-mount flexibility: One light that works on both vehicle and helmet without buying extras.
• Day-to-night usage: Efficient lower modes make it ideal for twilight, transition zones, and camp use.
• Gear minimalists: High output without unnecessary complexity or weight.
