Inspired by the beautiful movement of molten metal, this handcrafted Molten Gold Ring features a wide, sculptural band with softly flowing textures and wonderfully organic character.

Created using the traditional Japanese Mitsuro Hikime wax technique, each ring begins as a special blend of wax, gently stretched, folded, and shaped by hand to create its distinctive flowing lines and delicate ridges.

These beautiful textures are then preserved through the lost wax casting process, transforming the hand-sculpted design into a solid precious metal ring with its own unique personality.

With its beautifully irregular surface and softly undulating curves, this wide textured gold band makes a meaningful alternative wedding ring or a distinctive everyday statement piece - a little rustic, a little artistic, and perfectly imperfect.

🌿 The Art of Mitsuro Hikime

Unlike traditionally carved wax rings, Mitsuro Hikime designs are created by gently pulling, twisting, and folding a specially prepared wax mixture.

As the wax moves, beautiful flowing ridges and delicate patterns emerge naturally. Each movement creates something new, making it impossible to reproduce two rings exactly alike.

Once the wax design is complete, it is cast in solid precious metal, preserving those delicate textures and giving the finished ring its beautifully organic appearance.

Rather than seeking perfect symmetry, I embrace the spontaneous shapes and irregularities that make every piece wonderfully individual.
