🍂 Teaching Tip from a Montessori Guide
Picture cards without text are language-neutral and grow with your child. A two-year-old might simply sort them by color. A three-year-old might match them to real acorns during a nature walk. A four-year-old might use them to tell stories about autumn. These cards remain valuable across three years of development because there's no text limiting their use. When children are ready for written words, move to nomenclature cards, but keep these pure photo cards as visual references.
