Meet Krishna’s First Raksha Bandhan - a beautifully illustrated children’s book that reimagines the legendary bond between Krishna and Draupadi, told through playful rhyming verses.
Set in a sugarcane field, this heartwarming story follows a young Krishna and Draupadi during a sticky (and sweet!) accident that sparks a timeless tradition - the tying of a rakhi. In this version, it’s Draupadi who comes to Krishna’s rescue, proving that love and protection go both ways. When Draupadi tears a piece of her favorite sari to bandage Krishna’s hand, she’s not just tending to a wound - she’s starting a tradition that would live on for generations.
