The pomegranate is one of Judaism's most layered symbols. This print brings it home. Created by Arielle Stein, an NYC-based visual artist and Reform rabbi featured in Vogue, The Guardian, and The New York Times, it pairs the pomegranate with the words from inside the mezuzah scroll: the Shema and the V'ahavta. Here they become the art itself, handwritten Hebrew text filling the page with the pomegranate blooming over it. The result is an alternative blessing for the home, part art object, part ancient tradition.
A modern Jewish home blessing for a new home, a housewarming, a wedding, or your own front hall.
