This wood step stool and bench carries the story of its beginnings. Edgar, a master cabinetmaker in his second decade at Modernica, originally designed and built it from excess wood parts as a heavy-duty tool for his workshop. For more than a decade, it has served as his trusted step stool, enduring daily use and standing as a testament to practical design and skilled craftsmanship.

The design embodies Edgar’s inherent sense of scale, proportion, and structure, resulting in a piece that seamlessly blends functionality and artistry. Whether used as a step stool, small bench, children’s seat, or elevated display, it maintains the same thoughtful construction and reliability as the original.

Crafted to last a lifetime, let Edgar build one for you.
