Developed in collaboration with Düsseldorf-based sneaker retailer AFEW, this exclusive edition transforms the MXR with unique detailing, dystopian-inspired elements, and a striking desert-toned palette.

Drawing inspiration from arid landscapes and imagined civilizations beyond our own, the design blends sandy hues of Fog, Tiger Eye and Desert Palm with a series of bespoke updates that elevate the original MXR DNA. A custom toe box, reworked tongue construction and wrap-around quick-lace system create a distinctive technical aesthetic, while asymmetrical RunBird branding, unique midsole detailing and custom insole graphics complete the design.
