Commissioned by The Atlantic to illustrate Rana Abouzeid’s account of the August 4, 2020 Beirut port explosion. The artwork responds to the scale of the tragedy through a visual language of fragmentation, destruction, and memory, reflecting the shockwaves—both physical and emotional—that reverberated through Beirut.
