Threaded Socket with Shade Ring (or Collar)

This component serves as the structural and electrical core for your custom lamp designs. Its primary purpose is to bridge the gap between industrial plumbing hardware and decorative lampshades. Assembly includes the iron pipe fitting with the non-detachable threaded socket, pre-wired with 24" electrical leads, and the metal shade ring.

You just buy a regular 1/2" plumbing pipe from the hardware store, screw it right into the top of this piece, then use the metal ring to lock on whatever shade you want. Makes it super easy to customize the lighting, your way.

Lampshade Fitment: The threaded socket has an outer diameter of 37mm (1.46"). To fit this properly, your lampshade must have a Slip UNO style center opening with a diameter of 1-1/2 inches (approximately 38mm to 40mm). The collar length should be 1 inch or shorter.

Pipe Attachment: features standard 1/2" NPT female plumbing threads, allowing you to easily screw in any regular 1/2-inch iron pipe or threaded downrod from your local hardware store to serve as your hanging pole.
