As the garden moves into autumn, Snowberry ‘Magical Galaxy’ puts on its best display. Clusters of plump white berries cover the stems, creating a crisp contrast against the grey-green foliage and bringing fresh interest to the garden as many summer flowers begin to fade.
Small white flowers appear during summer before giving way to the berries that make this snowberry so distinctive. Its bushy habit makes it easy to work into mixed borders, shrub planting and informal garden schemes, growing to around 1–1.5m tall with a spread of 0.5–1m.
Exceptionally hardy and straightforward to grow, ‘Magical Galaxy’ thrives in full sun or partial shade and suits a wide range of soils. Plant it where those bright white berries can be appreciated in autumn, either as an individual feature or repeated through a larger border for extra impact.
Please note: Snowberry berries are ornamental and harmful if eaten. Wear gloves when handling the plant.
