Runeway is a tabletop role playing game set in the whimsical world of Weyrd in which you’ll get the chance to discover your character, ancient secrets, and perhaps even yourself. 

Playing the role of a Runedrifter, in Runeway you’ll travel the continent guided by its original rune-divination core mechanics, enriched by an emergent gameplay and its deep lore, boosted by a pinch of eccentricity. 

The Compass will guide you all, from Milestone to Milestone, until you reach your final Destination. All you need is a bag of 24 Futhark Runes and your imagination! (you can find a print ready diy file for yout runes included here!)

In this Starter, you’ll play the Dungeoneer, the archetype of a group of explorers, and you’ll discover mysterious relics of the Forgotten Ones, as well as their abandoned underground vaults.
