Introducing the Limited Edition ‘Today is a Good Day’ Journey Necklace

The Journey Necklace

Every NICU story is different—but each one is filled with strength, love, and moments that shape a family forever.

The Journey Necklace was created to honor that path.

Each loop represents a part of your story—whether it’s hope, resilience, remembrance, or celebration. From the Daisy Loop, inspired by the belief that hope grows in clusters, to the NICU Miracle Loop that celebrates the fighters who made it home, every piece carries meaning.

For those remembering a loss, the Remembrance Loop offers a way to keep a loved one close. The NICU Preemie and NICU Full Term loops honor the unique and often unexpected journeys that begin in the NICU—each one a testament to strength and perseverance.

No two necklaces are the same—because no two journeys are the same.

You can further personalize your necklace with birthstones, representing the people who are part of your story—children, parents, partners, or anyone held close to your heart.

This is more than a necklace.

It’s your story, held together—loop by loop.

The Journey Necklace is designed on a 16” box chain with a two inch extender. The chain and loops are all crafted in 18K gold filled material.

Each daisy - our symbol of hope - represents the beauty that can bloom even in life’s most tender seasons. Together in a cluster, they reflect the strength of community and the comfort of knowing someone stands beside you, even when the road feels uncertain. Let this necklace be a quiet reminder that the smallest seeds of hope can grow into something beautiful - and that you are never alone.

GLDN ash will donate 25% to Today is a Good Day for each Journey Necklace story purchased to support families who experience the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Today is a Good Day (TIAGD) is a 501(c)(3) organization based in Flourtown, Pennsylvania. The mission of TIAGD is to provide hope and build community through personal and financial support for families who experience the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Hope is often the only thing families have in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), but hope evolves and changes day to day. Some days can feel incredibly heavy and isolating. Other days are filled with good moments and milestones.

This is how we felt when we welcomed our identical twins, Claire Josephine and Mary Gladys, on 11/14/10 - over 4 months early. Claire weighed just 1lb. 2oz, and Mary weighed 1lb. 4oz. In an instant, we were launched into the overwhelming world of the NICU.

After just 14 days, our Mary lost her battle. Claire, who had dropped to less than a pound, continued to fight. We found strength in a community of fellow NICU parents who helped carry us through the darkest days. On those days, hearing the words “today is a good day” meant everything - they meant progress, possibility, and hope.

After 103 days, Claire finally came home.

When we founded Today is a Good Day, the daisy became our symbol of hope - a reminder that even the most delicate blooms can thrive. And like NICU families, daisies grow in clusters. They don’t bloom alone.

This necklace represents community and hope. May it remind you that even in the waiting, even in the uncertainty and the unknown, today is a good day to hold onto hope - and you are never alone.
