Hebe ‘Wiri Image’ is a compact evergreen hebe with a naturally tidy, rounded habit — the sort of shrub you can rely on for steady, year-round structure. It’s especially useful for smaller gardens, where every plant needs to behave itself and still look good in winter.
It’s brilliant in pots (where the shape really shines), but it’s just as effective at the front of borders, in low planting around taller shrubs, or used in little clusters to create a repeating rhythm through the garden. It’s one of those plants that quietly makes everything around it look more organised.
Plant it in sun or semi shade, ideally somewhere sheltered. It’s happy in most common garden soils — chalk, clay, loam or sand — as long as conditions are neutral to alkaline. Very hardy, compact, and easy-going; a light trim after flowering keeps it dense and rounded.
