Deutzia 'Mont Rose' is a charming, pink-flowered shrub that brings a soft lift to the garden in late spring and early summer. It’s a lovely choice for a mixed border or a small courtyard bed, where its fresh colour sits comfortably alongside perennials and roses.

Deutzia 'Mont Rose' grows as a wide, spreading shrub with a relaxed, informal shape, making it well-suited to cottage and informal planting. It’s also handy in a rockery or towards the front of a border if you want ornamental impact without anything too bold. Try it with lavender, nepeta, and hardy geraniums for an easy, natural combination.

Plant it in sun or semi shade in chalky, clay, loamy or sandy soil, and it’s happy across acidic, neutral or alkaline conditions. A sheltered spot helps it flower well and keep the growth looking tidy. Prune just after flowering by thinning out a few older stems, and you’ll keep it blooming well year after year.
