The songs of los narcos are called narcocorridos, music that chronicles narcocultura. Each narcocorrido contains a story, often legend and rumor, set to an almost traditional Mexican tune—it's like gangster rap produced by John Philip Sousa.

The songs presented in Corridos de Durango are full, original songs in that style, made possible through the writing and performance of Los Buitres del Desierto. Enjoy them alongside a session of Cartel!
