2. LED Heat-Sink Technology with Quick Focus® Spot-to-Flood Beam Control

The ML300L 6D uses LED technology with LED Heat-Sink Technology to help manage heat generated by the LED and support efficient brightness and power management. Its optical system incorporates Maglite® Quick Focus®, allowing the user to rapidly change the beam pattern directly from the flashlight head.

With approximately a ¼ turn of the head, the beam adjusts from a concentrated spot for long-distance viewing to a broad flood for illuminating a wider nearby area. This provides practical beam control for searching, property inspection, outdoor navigation, job-site work, emergency response, security, and close-range tasks.

The ML300L 6D uses Maglite®'s QuickClik® electronic switch to provide access to multiple operating functions through one control. The ML300L 6D operates on six standard D-cell alkaline batteries, providing a widely available, replaceable power source without requiring a proprietary rechargeable battery or charging system. The six-cell configuration is particularly well suited to applications where long operating time is important, delivering up to 177 hours in Eco Mode.

The flashlight is not rechargeable, and batteries are not included. Its multiple output settings allow users to choose maximum illumination when needed or substantially extend operating time by selecting Low or Eco Mode.
