Before kettles whistled and switched themselves off, they simply sat on the stove and did their work — and a copper one meant the house took its tea seriously.
This vintage hammered copper kettle is shaped in the old style: a rounded copper body, a curved spout, an arched handle. The body is hand-hammered, its surface left with the soft facets only a hammer leaves. It's made in a Peshawar workshop by hands that have raised this same shape hundreds of times. On the stove it boils; off it, it earns its keep on a shelf, catching the light.
An inheritance of warmth and hospitality — what copper has always stood for.
