A footed brass dish pierced into lace was always a dish for offering — sweets to a guest, dry fruit on the table, raised a little so it's the first thing the eye finds.
These two are worked in brass by hand, the sides pierced into floral openwork around an engraved oval centre, each lifted on a foot — one carried by handles at the sides, the other by a single ornate handle. Use them for mithai, dates, paan or trinkets; take one, or the pair for two on the table together.
