In the Swat valley up north, woodcarving is a craft of its own — doors, screens and frames cut and painted by hand, no two finished quite alike. This mirror frame comes from there.
It's carved by hand in Swat, the eight-sided shape worked into the wood and finished in vibrant paint that's clearly been chosen, not defaulted to. Hang it where a plain mirror would feel too quiet — a hallway, a dressing corner, a wall that needs waking up. (The mirror glass isn't included, so you can fit one to suit your wall.)
