The complete pressing system — five purpose-matched tools that take your pressing from adequate to professional, all working together at your machine. The Mini Iron and 9" × 11" Mini Wool Pressing Mat form the core: the compact iron presses precisely, and the dense wool mat radiates heat through both sides of the fabric for crisp, flat seams.
The 10" Hot Hem Ruler folds and presses perfectly even hems from ⅛" to 10" in one step, right on its heat-resistant surface. The Rolling Seam Presser flattens seams between stitches with no heat at all — and doubles as a mini clapper to set seams as they cool. And the silicone Mini Iron Rest gives the hot iron a safe home through it all.
Five tools. One professional pressing station.
A Complete Pressing System at Your Machine — Press seams, hem fabric, set folds, and rest your iron — all from one compact setup, without walking to an ironing board.
Wool Mat + Mini Iron = a Professional Press — The 9" × 11" felted New Zealand wool mat radiates heat back through the fabric, setting seams crisper and flatter than a padded ironing board; the mini iron's compact soleplate reaches small blocks and tight spots.
Fold a Perfect Hem, Then Press It Right There — The 10" Hot Hem Ruler folds any hem from ⅛" to 10" using its grid lines, then takes the iron directly on its heat-resistant surface — clean, even folds with no pins.
Press Seams Without Standing Up — The Rolling Seam Presser flattens seams with a few passes of the wooden roller — no heat needed — so you keep piecing; use it as a mini clapper right after steam pressing to lock seams crisp as they cool.
A Safe Home for the Hot Iron — The silicone Mini Iron Rest (heat-resistant to 482°F) keeps the iron flat, contained, and safe between every press.
1. Mini Iron
Type: Portable steam iron with temperature control
Dimensions: 5.5"L × 0.25"–2.75"W × 3.25"H; 8 ft attached power cord
Weight: 1 lb 2.2 oz
Materials: PP (polypropylene) body + aluminum soleplate
Included accessories: Fill cup (2.5"H × 1.25"–1.5"W; 0.2 oz; PP) and polyester travel bag (7.09" × 7.87")
Use: Pressing seams, blocks, hems, and small pieces at the sewing machine; quilting, garment sewing, appliqué, crafting
2. Mini Desk Top Wool Pressing Mat 9" × 11"
Size: 9" × 11"
Material: 100% natural felted New Zealand wool; naturally fire-resistant
Properties: Absorbs and radiates heat through both sides of the fabric for crisp seams; compact and portable
Use: A pressing station right beside your machine for small seams, quilt blocks, and piecing squares
3. Hot Hem Ruler 10"
Size: 10" long × 2.5" wide
Material: Felted wool — heat-resistant, non-slip; press directly on the ruler with steam or a dry iron at any temperature
Markings: Hem sizes from ⅛" to 10"; 45° angle lines for mitered corners
Use: Measure, fold, and press hems and seams in one step; pleats, folds, binding, and mitered corners
4. Rolling Seam Presser
Materials: Lightweight handle with a solid wood roller
Function: Roll the wheel over a seam on a solid surface with light pressure to temporarily flatten it — no heat required
Doubles as: A mini tailor's clapper immediately after steam pressing to set seams as they cool; also used in paper crafting and card making
Design: Portable and lightweight — fits in any project bag
Note: Avoid contact with adhesives, which would compromise the wooden roller for sewing use
5. Mini Iron Rest
Material: Heat-resistant silicone
Size: 6.69" × 4.06" × 0.12" (170 × 103 × 3 mm); raised edge 0.36" (9mm) along the front and sides
Weight: 2.19–2.35 oz (62–66.6 g)
Heat resistance: Up to 482°F (250°C)
Compatibility: Fits the Madam Sew Mini Iron and most other mini irons
Features: Raised lip contains the hot soleplate and prevents accidental contact; lay the iron flat instead of standing it upright; protects table tops, ironing boards, wool mats, and craft surfaces from heat damage
Care: Clean with warm soapy water; dry thoroughly before storing
Set up your station: Mini Wool Pressing Mat and Mini Iron Rest side by side beside your machine; heat the Mini Iron on the rest.
Between seams, roll the Rolling Seam Presser over each seam to flatten it temporarily so you can keep piecing.
Press batches of seams on the wool mat with the mini iron; the wool reflects heat from both sides for a crisp finish.
Immediately after pressing, hold the Rolling Seam Presser on the seam for a few seconds to set it as it cools.
For hems, fold the fabric over the Hot Hem Ruler to the ⅛"–10" mark and press directly on the ruler; use the 45° lines for mitered corners.
Rest the iron flat on the silicone rest between all presses.
Switch off and unplug the iron; air the wool mat; keep the roller away from adhesives.
