"When I looked at how people were carrying their iPads, I noticed Apple had done an excellent job turning the iPad into a serious productivity tool, especially when paired with the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil. But most iPad carrying cases treated these components as separate accessories rather than a complete system. Users were forced to choose between bulky bag or minimalist sleeves. The larger 13-inch iPad Pro and iPad Air models present a unique challenge. They are incredibly thin, lightweight and portable, but that also makes them more vulnerable while traveling. Existing iPad Pro travel bags add unnecessary bulk, while many sleeves fail to provide a convenient way to carry the whole system. The result is clutter, compromised protection, or both. This iPad Pro work bag was designed to solve that problem. I applied our Zero-Bulk Architecture and vertical orientation  to create a compact profile that is comfortable to carry while providing excellent protection. I designed an integrated Apple Pencil holder because it is one of the most secure ways to transport the Pencil without adding bulk."

"For charging accessories, I created a strap-mounted removable accessory pouch rather than sewing large pockets onto the exterior. This creates an iPad Pro bag for professionals, keeping it slim, elegant and highly functional while still carrying everything most professionals need: an iPad, Magic Keyboard, Apple Pencil, charger and cable. The hardest products to design are often the simplest ones. Every unnecessary detail that is removed places greater importance on the details that remain. There is nowhere to hide. Proportions must be right. Materials must be exceptional. Every feature must serve a purpose.
