Pete Schweddy's balls have been delighting NPR listeners since 1998, which is a sentence that never gets less absurd to say out loud. The Delicious Dish remains the most committed bit in sketch comedy history, and somehow a bakery made it real.
The Details:
Arched cream text reads "AS HEARD ON THE DELICIOUS DISH" above "PETE SCHWEDDY'S" in gold serif lettering, flanked by gold scrollwork flourishes and ornate vine-like borders. Bold red blackletter script reads "Schweddy Balls" centered between two cream-illustrated round baked goods with visible sprinkles, surrounded by gold decorative borders. A red ribbon banner at the bottom contains gold text reading "NO ONE CAN RESIST MY SCHWEDDY BALLS!" above "BY SEASONS EATINGS BAKERY."
