COMMENTS: Ideal for rigging knives. Also works great for sharpening sail needles, fish hooks, chisels, shears, galley knives, fillet knives and scissors. For best results, hold the blade at a 20-degree angle, while 'pulling' the edge evenly across the stone. 

After each use, the stone can be rinsed with oil or soapy water, then dried off with a washcloth or rag.
