The thyroid is a complex little guy. A butterfly-shaped hormone-producing organ in the neck, it helps to regulate growth, energy levels, heart rate, metabolism and more.

This is a print of a watercolor painting I made as an homage to the thyroid. I kept in very neutral tones, but I used metallic watercolors, so there is a subtle sheen to some of the marks. The mosaic style is meant to highlight the granular look of the organ.

This print would be perfect for anyone in an endocrine-related field, or anyone (and there are many!) who have dealt with a malfunctioning thyroid.
