A rare set of Victorian ruby and tassel drop earrings, hailing from the UK, 1880. This highly refined set of earrings connects to the Etruscan Revival, a jewelry movement inspired by archaeological discoveries of ancient tombs in Italy. An intricate hollow main piece is defined by raised foliate motif and square-cut ruby, finished with delicate tassels that move beautifully during wear. 

In wonderful antique condition, though we recommend wearing with caution and avoiding water. Sold as a pair.
