The Ring Jacket Navy Hopsack Balloon Wool Blazer is the blazer that earns its place through material and craft rather than occasion. The navy hopsack is the most fundamental and most rewarding expression of the odd blazer, a cloth and a colour that has anchored the dressed wardrobe for generations and that in Ring Jacket's hands is given the construction and the exclusive fabric it deserves.

The cloth is the Balloon exclusive fabric, a 100% wool hopsack at 270g produced specifically for Ring Jacket. The hopsack weave gives the fabric its characteristic open, basketwork texture and natural breathability, a surface that catches light differently at every angle and that gives the navy a depth and visual interest that a flat smooth cloth of the same colour cannot replicate. The lighter weight of 270g makes this blazer particularly well suited to wearing across a wide range of temperatures, hanging with a natural ease that heavier cloths do not allow.

The 254FH Meister is Ring Jacket's most handcraft-intensive blazer construction, finished with AMF hand stitching along the lapels and built on a full canvas chest that moulds progressively to the body with every wear. The unstructured shoulder gives the jacket its relaxed, natural fall, the half-lining in a rich navy satin sits tonal and considered against the outer, and the broad notch lapels, two front patch pockets, double vents and unfinished cuffs complete a blazer of genuine distinction.
