Frequently Asked Questions

• Q: What is the difference between this and a spotlight? A: A spotlight has a narrow beam for highlighting specific objects like a tree trunk. This flood light has a much wider spread designed to illuminate large, flat surfaces like a home facade or a wide hedge.
• Q: Can I use this for security lighting? A: Yes. Its wide coverage makes it an excellent low voltage option for illuminating dark areas of a property or large entryways.
• Q: Is a transformer required? A: Yes. This is a 12V AC fixture so a low voltage transformer (sold separately) is required for operation.
• Q: Can I change the color of the light? A: Yes. Because it uses a standard G4 bulb, you can swap the included warm white bulb for one with a different brightness or color temperature.
