This garment is worked in the round from the neck to the armholes, then stitches are placed on hold for the sleeves while the body is worked in the round to the bottom edge. When the body is complete, the sleeves are worked in the round. The only difference between Tee & Sweater is length of the sleeves.
SUMMER VERSION
Gauge: Stockinette on size US 15 (10 mm): 11 sts/4", 14 rows/4". This top is knit in the round so your gauge swatch for stockinette stitch should also be knit in the round - usually knitting stockinette stitch in the round results in tighter tension since there are no purl rows.
Materials:
- Loopy Mango Summer Yarn 90 yds 82 m | 100 g 3.5 oz each, 100% cotton
- US 15 (10 mm) 32" (80 cm) circular needles
Note: for neck and sleeves you will need to use magic loop method when using size US 15 (10 mm) circular needles 32’’ (80 cm). To avoid magic loop for neck and sleeves you can use an additional size US 15 (10 mm) DPN’s.
